ITAGIT, is a customized digital solutions provider, aiming to deliver tagging content off a media in a real time. After successful engagement on creating a TVTAG app for capturing TV broadcast content, we started a new exciting journey building TETHER music discovery app for iOS. The platform is a multi-tool for music lovers, beating other services by a number of features for seamless music experience.
ITAGIT team spent a solid period of time working on the Android version of the app and creating server solution. The best way to explore the insights and get on the same page with the team was a trip to Cairo. Our Xamarin Lead spent a very hot but highly fruitful July week having productive time with ITAGIT team, that resulted into creation of the iOS app architecture and making some quality improvements to the existing project infrastructure that gave better performance.
The team, who has been building TVTAG has been assigned to deliver coding, testing and project management. The experience implementation from the initial cooperation and knowing the nature, goals and style of the client resulted into rapid delivery of the first application version containing the key features stack to rock melomaniacs world. Early bird release gave us a solid understanding of what is missing and how to tailor further iterations.
Music discovery has never been so diverse thanks to the features stack that has been combined from the most handful instruments for enjoying music in real time:
One of the key distinctive features implemented in the app was the Song ID. So, now you can find the song playing around you and use the TETHER app to identify it. Just a few seconds and the song is captured, then you get the full info about the artist.
Music is the magical thing that keeps the planet spinning and there are so many instruments to deliver it to people, but there has been a lack of a universal one.
Working on this project has been a great journey and experience we’d love to extend. Such complex apps development with splitting it into parts and getting in users on early stages proves that in such way we can identify the optimal balance and set priorities. It’s just a beginning and we’re looking forward to start working on further iterations.
